Dividend Payment & Opt-Out Option

As a member-owned organisation, eligible members may receive a dividend payment as part of our annual financial distribution. However, if you wish to opt out of receiving your dividend, we now offer the option to waive your dividend payment.

To opt out, you will need to complete a Dividend Waiver Form below by March 19th 2025. This ensures your dividend is not paid to your account.

How Your Waived Dividend Helps the Community

By choosing to waive your dividend, you’re directly supporting the long term strength of Derbyshire Community Bank and its members. Here’s how your contribution makes a difference…

  • Stronger Financial Stability – Helps build a secure future for the credit union.
  • Increased Member Support – Assists members in need of financial help.
  • Better Savings & Growth – Allows us to improve savings plans and future returns.
  • Community Investment – Supports projects, education, and member services.
  • Tax Efficiency – Reinvesting dividends can help reduce costs and boost funds.
  • Greater Lending Capacity – Expands access to affordable loans.
  • Lower Fees & Better Services – Helps keep costs low and improve offerings.
  • Ethical Banking – Strengthens our community-focused values.
  • Future Development – Supports digital banking, financial education, and growth.

Your choice to reinvest your dividend helps us do more for you, our members, and the wider community.
